About Us

PTS was founded in 1998 by Joel McGinnis, Travis Loveday, and Chuck Nave for the purpose of being the “Provider of Choice in Sevier County” and to get our patients “Back to Work and Play." We subscribed to the theory that IF we provided outstanding care with exceptional service and we were accessible with convenient hours, the business would take care of itself. We believed that then and still hold to that belief today. We are from here, we are locally owned, and we take great pride in our company and the people that make up our company.

We have always believed that the services we provide should be “hands-on”; using our hands to stretch, mobilize, massage (including Astym and IASTM), Dry Needling, and of course to be the experts in determining the right exercises restore function and to be musculoskeletal experts, providing the right exercises and training for your condition to decrease pain and to restore function.

We also believe that to be the best we should strive to achieve advanced certifications; this is why our staff boasts having the most advanced certifications of any therapy provider in Sevier County. This gives us the necessary knowledge to problem solve and treatment techniques to provide the best possible outcome for our patients.

From our original office in Pigeon Forge, we have grown to a company of 6 locations and over 50 employees. In 2019, we added Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy to allow us to provide greater services for Sevier County.
